1. Chapter 1 - My New Family - 630 words.  After being swept off the shelf of the toy store where all the toys teased Little horse about her worth, she has a new family, Sarah, Jason, Mom and Dad.
2. Chapter 2 - My First Christmas - 865 words.  On the mantel, Little Horse watches the Christmas tree being trimmed. She meets Little Angel on the very top. She sees all the gifts being wrapped and knows what's in everyones! She feels like Sarah and Jason who are about to burst and tell their Christmas secrets.
3. Chapter 3 - The Night Visitor - 615 words.  Santa's visit, the family celebration and Little Horse's plea not to be put away until next year!
4. Chapter 4 - Little Angel's Advice - 605 words.  Little Horse wonders why she can't be out especially in the summer. Little Angel tells Little Horse about the importance of patience and how she got to be placed on the top of the tree.
5. Chapter 5 - The Magic is Close - 853 words.  Sarah and Jason recall stories connected to all the miniature toys they have placed in Little Horse's sleigh over the years. Little Horse discovers, people too, don't always know what they are to do.
6. Chapter 6 - A Sad and Scarey Time - 410 words.  It is a sad time the year Dad does not appear for Christmas and a scary time when Little Horse finds herself in an auction line up. Sarah and Jason are moving!
7. Chapter 7 - A Surprise - 700 words.  Out of a dark, stuffy box Little Horse finds herself in a new place with Sarah, Ned and a new baby. Now she knows her worth and whispers a holiday greeting to Cory with promises of riding him through snowflakes of his dreams and filling the sleigh with his stories.
